USB - Não existem recursos de sistema suficientes para concluir o serviço solicitado.

Bom artigo que explica bem este tipo de problema que pode ocorrer no USB.

Não existem recursos de sistema suficientes para concluir o serviço solicitado.
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

Bandwidth and power problems

Another common problem with USB devices is that you can only use so many USB devices simultaneously. This is because each USB 1.1 port is limited to 12 Mbps (megabits per second) of bandwidth (USB 2.0 allows for 480 Mbps) and 500 mA. If you exceed either of these limitations, then the USB devices will cease to function.

Let’s take a look at bandwidth limitations first. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you the exact number of USB devices that will exceed your bandwidth limitations and there is no Performance Monitor option to examine USB bandwidth. The type of USB device and how the device is used both affect the amount of bandwidth the device consumes. For example, scanners and digital cameras tend to consume a lot of bandwidth because they transfer large chunks of data to the computer. At the same time, though, a scanner will consume almost no bandwidth unless you are actively in the process of transferring data.

The best way to tell if you might be exceeding your USB bandwidth limitation is to take a look at the number of devices connected to a particular USB port, how those devices are being used, and then apply some common sense. If you have many USB devices connected or your devices tend to transmit and receive a lot of data, then you could be pushing the limits of a port’s available bandwidth.

Power consumption is a lot easier to figure out than bandwidth consumption. To figure out how much power you are consuming, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, each USB port on your computer supplies 500 mA. This 500 mA has to be shared among all devices connected to it. If you connect a single device to a USB port, power consumption isn’t a consideration, because most USB devices only consume around 100 mA.

Things start getting interesting when you start connecting USB hubs. If you connect a USB hub to a USB port, then the port’s 500 mA must be shared between the USB hub and all of the devices connected to the hub. You can also daisy chain USB hubs. If you daisy chain USB hubs together, you can have up to five hubs connected in a series. Remember, though, that 500 mA must be sufficient to power all connected hubs and devices. A USB hub does consume power, even if no other devices are connected to it.

To get around this problem, many manufacturers have started making USB hubs that have an external power supply. If you have a USB hub with an external power supply, the power supply will supply a total of 500 mA to the hub. This means that if you have multiple powered hubs daisy chained together, then each hub will be self sufficient and will consume almost no power from the computer’s USB port or from other hubs in the chain.

Even if all of your hubs are powered, though, there are still limitations that you must be aware of. First, the five-hub limit still applies whether the hubs are powered or not. The other limit is that you must still avoid overburdening any one hub with USB devices with excessive power consumption. Finally, external power sources do nothing to provide extra bandwidth. If you were to interconnect five hubs with four devices each, you could connect 20 USB devices to a single USB port, as long as none of the devices had excessive power consumption. At the same time, though, these 20 devices would have to share the 12 Mbps of available bandwidth.

When I first started talking about power consumption, I said that it is easier to determine whether you are using too much power than it is to determine if you are using too much bandwidth. Windows will actually tell you how much power your USB devices are using. Before I show you how to figure this out, though, there is one thing that you need to understand. The number that I am about to show you doesn’t actually measure power consumption, but rather how much of the USB port’s power is being used. Remember that you can have powered USB hubs connected to the computer. If a powered hub is connected, then the devices will be feeding off of the hub’s power, not off of the computer’s power. Therefore, the computer will show you that there is very little or no power being drawn from the USB port.

To view USB power consumption, return to the Device Manager, right-click the USB Root Hub entry, and click Properties to display the USB Root Hub Properties sheet. Select the Power tab and you will see how much power is being drawn from the USB ports, as shown in Figure C.

The Power tab shows how much power your USB devices are drawing.

If a device (or a combination of devices) draws too much power, then the hub will usually turn off the port. To get the port to function again, you must disconnect the device and reattach it to the port. Depending on the type of hub that you are using, there may also be a dialog box that prompts you to reset the port.

Temos duas alternativas:

1) Ligar o computador na TV.

É ótimo, mas você deve ter:

  1. Placa de vídeo com saída para TV;
  2. O computador deve estar perto da TV;
  3. Os cabos devem ser compatíveis, ou devemos utilizar adaptadores;
  4. É preciso ligar o som na TV ou home;
  5. Conhecimentos avançados para configurar a placa para exibir filmes na tv, principalmente se for ver um DVD;

  2. Desinstale todos os codecs que por ventura tenha instalado para instalar somente o do passo seguinte;
  3. Baixe e instale o melhor e mais simples codec pack: CCCP
  4. Quando for fazer re-rippar, escolha ffdshow-Mpeg4-XVid-DoisPassos que fica bacana.

Embutir, colocar, associar, grudar legendas em filmes Divx XVid?

Baixe os seguintes programas:

DivXLand Media Subtitler
Edita legendas e converte para SSA. (http://www.divxland.org/permanentsubtitling.php)

VirtualDubMod
Editor de vídeos. Possui as ferramentas necessárias para juntar a legenda.

Subtitler PlugIn
Plug-in do VirtuaDub para juntar legendas SSA ao video.

Caso o VirtualDub exiba isso:

Xii, problemas a vista!

Digital Output vs. Analog Output

Arquivado em: placa de som — saitodisse @ 8:57

Digital Output vs. Analog Output

There are two types of Digital Output jacks: one is stereo SPDIF Digital
Out, and the other is a multi-channel
Digital Out.

    Stereo SPDIF Digital Out

The cards include Sound Blaster X-Fi
series, Sound Blaster Audigy 4, Sound Blaster Audigy Value and Sound Blaster
    Audigy
    SE.

It is a stereo SPDIF digital out jack. It supports stereo
SPDIF Out to Stereo Digital Speakers only,
    or sends
compressed AC3 signals to an external decoder.

    X-FI Digital Out Jack

This jack is also called a FlexiJack because it can be used as Digital Input
jack, a Microphone Jack or a Line-In jack.

    Multi-channel Digital Out

The cards include Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS, Sound Blaster Audigy 2, Sound
Blaster Audigy, and Sound Blaster Live!
    5.

The Digital Out jack is a multichannel (6 channels), 4-pole mini jack.
The Digital Out jack on these cards
    can send multi-channel
    (5.1) audio signals when
    it is connected to a
DTT3500 Digital or Creative Inspire 5700 Digital.

    Digital Out Jack

It requires a Minijack to a 9 pin mini -DIN
converter cable to connect from this digital out jack to the compatible
    speakers.

    Digital 5.1

The common misconceptions about the Digital Out
jack is that it can send 5.1 sound from a single digital connection
to a receiver all the time. In fact, the Digital Out jack could only
send multi
channel audio (5.1) under either one of the following conditions:

  • When the Digital Out jack (of the Sound Blaster cards that have a multichannel
    Digital Out
jack) is connected to the Digital In (Digital Din) of a compatible
    speaker system
    such as
    Creative
    Inspire
    5700, Creative
    DTT3500,
Cambridge MegaWorks 510, or the Creative decoder DDTS-100, it will deliver
multi channel audio via three discrete streams (Front SPDIF, Rear SPDIF,
    and
    Center/Subwoofer SPDIF) to individual speakers.

  • When you are playing a multi channel DVD movie or a DVD game, and that the
audio source is sent directly from your DVD decoder application or DVD decoder
card to Digital Out jack on the Sound Blaster card, then a to decoder box.
A single digital connection cannot carry a 5.1 signal UNLESS it is encoded
into a bitstream format such as on a DVD or .AC3 file. In addition, not all
DVD movies are encoded as 5.1, some DVD movies may be stereo.

Another misconception is that the Dolby Digital light on the receiver should
be on all the time the receiver is connected to a multi channel Sound Blaster
card. Receivers use this light to indicate they are getting a Dolby Digital
bitstream (NOT decoded). The light will only come on when playing a Dolby
Digital DVD or AC-3 file and you are using a digital connection; not an
analog one. If you are using the sound card to decode AC-3, the light will
not be on.

The digital output should be used when you want to add another
decoder box and bypass the sound card. If your receiver has discrete multi
channel analog connections, it is recommended that they be connected to
the Analog Front-Out, Rear-Out, and Center/Subwoofer Out on the audio card.

When the Digital Out jack is connected to a Digital Input
jack found on common home theater receivers, it will only play multi
channel audio
(5.1) when your are playing DVD games, or DVD
movies, or standalone AC3 files. The commonplace multimedia files such
as MP3, MID,

AVI, WAC, or WMA etc, are of stereo format: right and left only.

It is common
to hear only front right and front left channels from a multi
channel capable
receiver when it is connected to the Digital Out jack on a Sound Blaster
card. This is because these connectors are not capable of sending multi
channel
audio
signals that have been decoded already by the sound card to individual
speakers. When the receiver receives such signals, it will output
the front channels
only,
and disregard other channels.

In addition, the DVD-Audio playback is restricted to analog out only. The Digital
Out will be automatically muted when you start to play a DVD-Audio file.

Installing the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

    1. Turn off your computer and all peripheral devices.
    2. Touch a metal plate on your computer to ground yourself and to discharge
any static electricity, and then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    3. Remove the computer casing.
    4. Remove a metal bracket from an unused PCI slot. If you are installing
the Joystick/MIDI bracket (optional), also remove an adjacent metal bracket.
Turn off the main power supply and disconnect your computer’s power cord.
Systems using an ATX power supply unit with soft power off may still be
powering the PCI slot. This can damage your audio card when it is inserted
      into the slot.
    5. Remove any existing audio card or disable the onboard audio chipset.
    6. Align the Audigy 2 ZS audio card with the PCI slot and press the card
gently but firmly into the slot
    7. Secure the card to your computer. Depending on your computer’s configuration,
you may need a screw to secure your Audigy 2 ZS audio card to the computer.
    8. If you are installing a joystick or MIDI device (optional), secure the
Joystick/MIDI bracket to the slot next to the Audigy 2 ZS audio card. Depending
on your computer’s configuration, you may need a screw to secure your Audigy
2 ZS audio card to the computer.
    9. Connect the Joystick/MIDI cable to the Joystick/MIDI connector on the
      Audigy 2 ZS audio card

    Installing the software

    1. After you have installed your audio card, turn on your computer. Windows
automatically detects your audio card and searches for device drivers.
    2. When prompted for the audio drivers, click the Cancel button.
    3. Insert the Audigy 2 ZS Installation and Applications CD into your CD/DVD-ROM
      drive.
    4. If Windows AutoPlay mode is enabled for your CD/DVD-ROM drive, the CD starts
running automatically. If not, you need to enable your CD/DVD-ROM drive’s
auto-insert notification feature. Alternatively, from your Windows desktop,
click Start - Run and type d:\ctrun\ctrun.exe (replace d:\
with the drive letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive).
    5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
    6. When prompted, restart your computer.

Note: During the installation process, Windows 98 SE users will be
prompted to insert the Windows 98 SE installation CD into the CD/DVD-ROM drive.
Insert the installation CD into the CD/DVD-ROM drive and then click the OK
    button.

If you did not receive a Windows 98 SE installation CD with your system, but
received a Recovery Disk, the necessary Windows files may be located at c:\WINDOWS\Options\Cabs
(replace c:\ with the drive letter of your hard disk drive).
